Slipknot's "Live at MSG" release was highly anticipated by fans since it's the first time these tracks from the 2009 live show have been pressed on vinyl. In addition to the excitement for the music, this release included new artwork by band member, Clown.
Strategy
Leading up to the release, Rhino prepared many assets to promote the album across many platforms. This includes website banners, short form content, and social media posts and banners. Additionally, an upscaled version of the "Dead Memories" music video was released on YouTube and promoted to increase views on the video and build hype for the album's release.
